From log to stave
Then begins the precise work of transforming the log into stavewood with the operations of cutting the logs, splitting the logs, etc.

Once the tree has been cut, it is the expert eye of the cooper who chooses the appropriate sections.

The logs

After the felling of the oak trees, the logs are cut. We rigorously follow this process to insure they are split to guarantee watertightness and solidity.
Staves
The wood quarters are sawn straight, and the pieces are then calibrated. The staves are sorted and put on pallets before following the aging process.
